Gel Application
Nail Preparation
1. Cleanse hands thoroughly to ensure that there are no bacteria.
2. Lift the cuticles and remove them.
3. Use a fine grit file to remove shine and surface oils, make sure to create a slightly textured surface on the nail plate in order for a better bonding surface, because a rough surface will bond well with the gel.
4. Remove the file dust with cleanser.
French Nail Application type I
1. Apply protein bond.
2. Scoop base (Advance I) gel with a gel brush and apply evenly onto the nail plate. - Cure in UV lamp for 2 min.
3. Apply enough builder (Advance II, White Builder, etc) gel to reinforce the nail with thickness and shape for the next step. - Cure in UV lamp for 2 min.
4. Cleanse the nail plate thoroughly, shape the nail by filling according to the clients desires, and wipe the file dust.
5. Using the High White Gel, create a thin-layered smile line on the free edge. - Cure in UV lamp for 2 min.
6. Apply the Top Gloss with even pressure. - Cure in UV lamp for 2 min.
7. Cleanse the nail plate thoroughly in order to remove the stickiness and improve shine using cotton or gauze.
8. Lastly, apply oil on the nails in order to protect the cuticles.
French Nail Application Type 2
1. Apply protein bond.
2. Scoop base (Advance I) gel with a gel brush and apply evenly onto the nail plate. - Cure in UV lamp for 2 min.
3. Draw a thick layer of smile line using French White Gel. - Cure in UV lamp for 3 min.
4. Apply enough builder (Advance II, White Builder, etc) gel to reinforce the nail with thickness and shape for the next step. - Cure in UV lamp for 2 min.
5. Cleanse the nail, and file the gel according to the clients’ desires wiping off the file dust.
6. Apply Top Gloss or Easy Finish (Easy Finish does not have to be cleansed to remove stickiness and improve shine). - Cure in UV lamp for 2 min.
7. Cleanse the nail plate thoroughly using cotton or gauze IF Top Gloss was used.
8. Apply oil on the nails in order to protect the cuticles.
Extension Application
Tip Application
1. Prepare the nail.
2. File the side of the tip that must be placed on top of the nail in order to create a smooth layer.
3. Glue the edge of the filed side and place it on the nail.
4. Cut off the excess tip according to the clients’ desires.
5. Then follow the steps for normal gel application.
Sculpture Form Application
1. Prepare the nail.
2. Place the Sculpture form right underneath the nail bed, making sure the Sculpture form is parallel to the nail bed.
3. Apply protein bond.
4. Scoop base (Advance I) gel with a gel brush and apply evenly onto the nail plate and onto the Sculpture form with the desired length of the client. - Cure in UV lamp for 2 min.
5. Remove the Sculpture form by squeezing together the two corners and bend the sculpture form gently away from the base gel making sure the gel layer does not break.
6. Follow the steps 3~8 in French Nail Application Type 2 to complete the gel application.
Fill in Guide
1. Evenly file the gap between the natural nail bed and the gel, allowing the two surfaces to blend together, and also file some of the thickness away from the rest of the gel.
2. Apply the protein bond only onto the own nail.
3. Scoop base (Advance I) gel with a gel brush onto the own nail, and brush a small amount of the gel placed on the own nail down to the tip of the nail. - Cure in UV lamp for 2 min.
4. Follow steps 3~8 of either French Nail Application Type 1 or 2.
